  • Hi Ijaz,

We have solved this issue with the help of Microsoft. It's a known bug which Microsoft has accepted and they provide us a script to resolve this issue from backend.

Issue is basically associated with the bad link entries / orphan data associated with your project for which you need to search it in your log file by searching "No list with ID: "

You will find out the bad GUID's after the quotes.

I would recommend you to contact with Microsoft in this regards to avoid any mishaps in your environment.

  • Hy Hyder,

We are willing to help you but we just have a generic message, not enough to help you. Which patch level do you have? Is it happening on one specific project or all project? For all users? Do you have a custom site Template? Can you provide the ULS logs since this error message is too generic?

That being said it could be related to a inconsistency in the project (resource on summary assignment for example), to a customized site Template which does not publish correctly...

If it is a corruption issue (happening just on one specific project), this blog might help you.

Please tell us more if you want us to help you.

    Hope this helps,

  • Hi Guillaume,

I am getting this error on almost all project publishing from MS Project 2013.

    Patch Level: SharePoint 2013 & Project Server 2013 SP1 (KB2880553, KB2880996)

Happening to all projects for all users.

    Custom Site template: None.

ULS: Can be shared but it's too long to paste over here.

    Regards,

    Hyder Zaidi

  • Hi Hyder,

    Thanks for your feedback.

Unfortunately without the ULS logs, it will be impossible to help you since it can be due to many causes. Maybe try to extract from the ULS error message the relevant content or at least remove the duplicated items.

    Hope this helps,

  • Thanks Hyder for your reply!

In my case, it was happening only with two project schedules. For me the following steps worked out well.

1- Take the backup of the schedule file from the server

2- Unlink the project site of that project schedule

3- Delete the schedule file from PWA

4- Upload the backup schedule file to the server

5- Publish >>Link back to the project site >> republish the schedule

6- All is set - Not anymore the same error received earlier.

Notes: This happened after migration from 2010 version to 2013

    Thanks!
