Error: Intel MKL FATAL ERROR: Cannot load libmkl_avx.so or libmkl_def.so. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I am trying to use one of the RevoscaleR package functions(rxLinMod) in my code and it fails in one of our environments.

Here is the line of code which is failing:

    arrDelayLm1 <- rxLinMod(ArrDelay ~ DayOfWeek, data = airDS)

    Error:

Intel MKL FATAL ERROR: Cannot load libmkl_avx.so or libmkl_def.so.

But when I use cube option, it runs fine though..!!

    > arrDelayLm1 <- rxLinMod(ArrDelay ~ DayOfWeek, data = airDS, cube = TRUE)

The same code runs fine in other cluster environments..!

Please check the error and let me know the fix . appreciate your help here.

    Thanks

    Raja
