Connection to the DPM service has been lost every 30 minutes RRS feed

    Using DPM 2016, every 30 minutes, on the hour and half an hour, I get error message that: Connection to DPM service has been lost. ID 917.

    The error log entry looks like:

    B491EF49-E1C9-4AD7-8A72-23A4A4CB3A39 WARNING Caught unhandled exception : Microsoft.Internal.EnterpriseStorage.Dls.DB.DBCorruptionException: DLS error: Couldn't retrieve details for 'serverxyz' from the database. SP='dbo.prc_AM_ClusterNode_Get' Error=50001

    Make sure all the DPM services are running, it seems like if it's every 30 minutes constantly it could be some scheduled job in the DPM database that causes this.

    Also which build of DPM are you running? If you haven't updated to the latest RollUp 5 I would suggest doing so.

    If everything is up to date you could run a CHECKDB  to see if you find any errors.
