Prevent from View deletion RRS feed

  • I made View for all Support Group for example All SysAdmin Open Incident and All SysAdmin Open Insident (unassigned). I made a queues for every support groups and Create user roles on the base of Incident resolver built in Role for every group(as i understood it's appropriate permissions for people who will be resolving incidents). It's strange but when people who are a members of the Role for their Support Group logged in the console - they have permitions to delete that views which i created for them. How can i prevent this

  • In fact, they doesn't have right to delete view. If you try to delete view you get "Unathorized exception" error.

    You can hide this console task in role's configuration.

  • Make the separated view can be helpull for incident manager, for example. That views help fast review all incidents on given support level.

  • Anton thank you for helpind, and next question -  give me please a good reason why i should make separate views for every Support Group, for example i make a 2 views for every Support Group for All Support Group1 Open and for All Support group 1 Open Unassigned. (we have on default the same views for standart Tier1 and Tier2 Support Group in Console - All Open Tier1 Incidents and All Open Tier2 Incidents (unassigned and the same views we have for Tier2) - i'm interesting what is the reason for such separation?

    I need a strong reason because as i understood we can simpy make a queues for every Support Group and make roles for Support groups and give every Support Group righs for only their queue and because of this queues every support group will see only incidents for their group in general views All Open Incidents and All Open Unassigned incidents in Console
