O365 Client updates failing to Sync RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi guys

Strange problem which seems to be affecting Office 365 Client updates only.

Windows 10 updates are syncing nicely.

Here is an extract of the wsyncmgr.log

It does this for each O365 update available.

We do have a proxy configured. But all other updates are syncing fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

O365 updates aren't the same as other updates though -- they have their own distinct catalog and come from a different location -- so you should eliminate your proxy first as the source of the issue.

If you can confidently do that, then a support call with Microsoft is your best bet here as there's not much anyone here can do to help explicitly with catalog issues other than confirming whether they have a similar issue or not.

If anything does not help, try to change Office release from Semi Annual Channel to Monthly Channel if that fix the issue.

  • What version of SCCM are you on? we are seeing the same thing with version 1806 in our dev environment but test and prod are on version 1802 and office 365 updates are fine.

  • You were correct Jason - Thanks.

The proxy was blocking o365 updates from syncing via wsus. Removed the offending rule and it now working.

    Cheers
