EVENT ID: 10010 COM GENERAL FUNCTIONALITY AND DCOM ERRORS IN WIN 7 X64 RRS feed

  • I HAVE WIN 7 X64 HOME PREMIUM AT HOME AND KEEP GETTING THE EVENT ID: 10010 COM GENERAL FUNCTIONALITY ERRORS AS WELL AS DCOM ERRORS, AND CAN SEE THEM IN EVENT VIEWER, IT'S A LAPTOP THAT I'M USING,  A DELL VOSTRO 1700 WITH 4 GB OF RAM, AND TRIED A CLEAN BOOT AS WELL AS COLD AND WARM BOOT, AND TRIED THE COMEXP.MSC FIX, I REALIZE THIS FIX IS AIMED AT WIN SERVER 2008 R2, BUT, I KEPT GETTING THESE 10010 ERRORS AND DCOM ERRORS IN WIN 7 X64 AND TRIED IT ANYWAY, IT HAS NO CHANGE ON THE SYSTEM AT ALL, OR ON EVENT ID:10010, I SURE HOPE MICROSOFT CAN FIX THIS IN WIN 7 X64 WITH SP 1.

    ANY HELP ON THIS TYPE OF ERROR OR EVENT IN WIN 7 X64 ?

    First, may I know the following?

     

    1.    Did this issue occur before?

    2.    Could you please let us know the detail information about the error as well as some other related errors in Event Log? It would be useful to analyze this issue.

     

    I just got the following information about “Event ID: 10010”:

     

    Event ID 10010 — Application or Service Restart Status

     

    From this document, we can see it should be related to a certain application or service. If an application crash issue appeared, please also let us know. Meanwhile, please try the method in this page and check if it is helpful.

     

    Considering this issue is related some applications, pleases also have a check in Clean Boot environment:
