new Exchange 2010 mailboxes not receiving external mail

Question
-
hi, i am new to Exc2010 - i have created some mailboxes which cannot receive external mail. you can email internally, however. this is NOT widespread across my mail server; so not sure where I have gone wrong. I used the EMC tool instead of powershell. I have also deleted and recreated the accounts and mailboxes. this is the error i receive; (I took out my from and to field address below as it had my private mail)
can someone help me with this please?

You have to liaise with Microsoft (BPOS) since your inbound email is hosted by Microsoft
You can post the isseu in Microsoft Online forum to get relevant help.http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/onlineservicesexchange/threads
If it is not a Microsoft Online Exchange environment, then please try to describle the topology here, like how many Exchange Servers, send connectors that you have created, firewall, firewall rules.Xiu

Hosted by Microsoft
Pref Hostname IP Address TTL 0 mail.messaging.microsoft.com 216.32.181.178 6 min
Gives some buffer time to let EdgeSync synchronization kicks start for new created mailbox enabled user.

Did you change the MX Records, where do they point to- confirm me the IPs below
"
slc.qld.edu.au MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = mail2.slc.qld.edu.au
slc.qld.edu.au MX preference = 15, mail exchanger = mail3.slc.qld.edu.au
slc.qld.edu.au MX preference = 0, mail exchanger = mail.messaging.microsoft.comslc.qld.edu.au MX preference = 5, mail exchanger = mail.slc.qld.edu.au
mail2.slc.qld.edu.au internet address = 202.153.68.218
mail3.slc.qld.edu.au internet address = 202.153.69.132
mail.slc.qld.edu.au internet address = 203.100.1.115"
Do you have Edge Server deployed?
