MDT local administrator not logging in

  • Hi,

I have a POST-OS task sequence which will not auto login upon a computer restart.

The administrators password could be anything at this point.

I want to launch this TS on any desktop and have it play out, my question is:

Does MDT POST-OS detect what the local admin password is and use that or do i have to specify it?

Since this is a POST-OS Task sequence I have no unattend.xml file. Hope somebody knows the answer :)

  • Hi Steve..

Have you specified local admin password inside CustomSettings.ini file?

    Please! verify the below things....

  • Hi jiteshKumar,

That works unfortunately litetouch.wsf shortcut in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp will not automatically start up now once I've logged in after a restart.

It seems it will not launch it because it does not think I'm administrator even tho I just logged in as the local administrator account which is definitely in the local admin group. Very confused.

If i go to that folder and launch the script as administrator manually its works and continues my TS.
