Default management pack how to restore RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have SCOM 2012 R2.

    Default management pack was deleted.

    Is it possible to restore it?

  • You can import the default managment pack from SCOM 2012 source

    .\Management Packs\Microsoft.SystemCeter.OperationsManager.DefaultUser.xml

  • The management pack file would be located in the installation folder of SCOM 2012. You will be able to import the MP by pointing the import wizard to this folder and you will be able to select the default MP, Microsoft.SystemCeter.OperationsManager.DefaultUser.xml, for import.

  • yes, you can restore default management pack. Look for the Microsoft.SystemCenter.OperationsManager.DefaultUser management pack. In your server tis was located in C:\Program Files\Management Packs\Microsoft.SystemCeter.OperationsManager.DefaultUser.xml.

    Also you can refer below link {it's for scom 2007 as scom 2012 with using above path}
