UAG - Publish Sharepoint site that has another websites RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

My Sharepoint site http://intranetapp host another site in another server. This site hosted on Sharepoint Site is called by http://server02:84/file.apsx

I configured Sharepoint Site http://intranetapp to be published by UAG through intranet.contoso.net. Everything worksfines from Internet. However, I noticed this is not working:

Do I have to publish that website, which is in the sharepoint site?

    Regards.

  • To clarify, you will need to define another application in UAG to publish the 'server02' web application. If it is only accessed via SharePoint you can then hide the application from the portal, but UAG will still process the requests when displayed in the SharePoint web site. Think of the two internal web applications (SharePoint and server02) as side by side web servers and you need to publish them both to the Internet.

  • HI,

Yes, you need to publish that file too. Client is making a direct request to the file.asp resource. You need to allow access to that file too. Using Fiddler or the Developer Tools (press F12 to get them) you'll see what the client is doing and what you need to handle.
