    Hi all,

    Am trying to virtualize quick time 7.68 with App-V,  But am facing some issues.

    1. I want the updates to be turned off.

              what I tried is " Before giving stop monitoring, launched the quick time via command prompt and configured the changes, such as disabling the updates.

                When i tried to launch the application during the launch phase, i saw that updates are disabled. But, when launched the application in App-V client, the updates are still on,

    How can i make the updates to be disabled?

    any help will be greatly appreciated

    Hi Znack,

     

    I followed the instructions which are in that page, but still my preferences are not getting reflected.

    This is the script which I used: 

    <script event="LAUNCH" wait="TRUE" protect="TRUE" timing="PRE">
    <SCRIPTBODY>@XCOPY /E /I /Q Q:\QTIME7.P01\Prefs "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Apple Computer\QuickTime"</SCRIPTBODY>
    </script>

     

    During the monitoring phase, I edited the registry entry of "Local Preferences"  and made to save the QTP file under the "Romaing" profile..

    After that modified the osd file by adding the above mentioned script.

    Guide me to proceed further,
