sequencing project 2010 successfull, but features (icons) missing / greyed out RRS feed

    Hi


    Successfully sequenced project 2010 professional.

    The app starts but most of the icons are greyed out. It's really strange. Seems that a lot is missing.

    Any ideas why those feature / icons are greyed out? I've select during the install all features to be installed locally.

    Problem is solved --> needed to enable interaction.

    What icons: almost all icons where greayed out in the ribbon bar of project 2010.

    Sequenced the application on the drive q: using 8.3 convention. I installed every feature locally.

    I am one step further.


    Enabling 

    <POLICIES>
                    <LOCAL_INTERACTION_ALLOWED>TRUE</LOCAL_INTERACTION_ALLOWED>
                </POLICIES>

    in the osd let the icons appears.

     

    One more question: When I launch the application, not every feature is usable at the moment. It's launched but still loading in the background (seeing this in the app virt mmc console on the client).

    Is there a way to force an application to be 100% loaded locally before launched (e.g. notebook mobile use?)

    Hi,

    I am also having the same problem. When I deploy and launch the app on client. It opens up but with blank white screen instead of Grantt Chart. Also many top button under menus are disabled.

    I have followed guideline provided by Microsoft sequencing guideline for Office 2010.

    I have set <POLICIES>
                    <LOCAL_INTERACTION_ALLOWED>TRUE</LOCAL_INTERACTION_ALLOWED>
                </POLICIES>

    But this does not make any difference. Tried running process mon also but no luck. I have tried diagnostic tool of sequencer and there also it works fine with all functionality working.

    But again all issues are coming back when run on the client

    If anyone is able to solve/know the solution please reply.
