Windows update has tried updating the OS to 1809 6 times and each time it fails and rolls back with the following bluescreen error:

  • It sounds like when you mention Boot Camp in the title, you appear to be running Windows on Apple hardware. Are you using Boot Camp on any of the following:

    • iMac [year model]?
    • iMac Pro?
    • MacBook Pro [which generation]?
    • Mac Pro?

The Boot Camp hardware may not be compatible with Windows 10 October 2018 Update, which might be causing the SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED BSoD. If Apple hasn't updated their Boot Camp hardware/software, this is the case.

  • Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum.

Are you using iMac with the Windows 10 Ent OS?

AppleSSD.sys is a SCSI driver, try to remove the driver from Device Manager and test.

Meanwhile, please refer to the following article to troubleshoot:
