Uninstalling IE10 via SCCM RRS feed

  • Question

  • Users at our school are getting the update which installs IE10 - we are having WSUS problems and I have not been able to decline this update yet.

The problem is that IE10 is highly incompatible with our Student Information System, Pearson PowerSchool (this SIS has the largest marketshare in the world).

Is there a way to use SCCM 2012 to remove IE10 (and therefore, roll back to IE9)? I don't have the WSUS/SCCM integration working yet. My only other choice will be to allow everybody install Chrome or Firefox (I have Chrome available to them in Software Center). I much prefer to standardize on IE in a school environment because the security updates and customization are much easier to administer; however, the software vendors are telling me that IE does not follow browser standards and I find that IE10 does not work with many of our products.
