Close One Drive account which is not needed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

How do I completely CLOSE my one Drive account which is not needed. I have ended up with two accounts, one with free 5GB storage and which now claims to be full - and my "normal" account which has 150GB included and I want to use for One Drive syncing. The 5GB account I want to close won't "get out of the way!" and prevents me from syncing the normal account.

  • Hello!
You can close your Microsoft account with the instructions here

However, you can also just unlink it with your computer. To do that, right-click on your Onedrive folder and select settings, under Accounts, choose "Unlink this PC" for the account you want to unlink.
