Why is my FastQuery-server crawling...the Internet? RRS feed

Answers

  • If you execute "nctrl status", is the "crawler" process running? It could be that the FAST crawler has been started for some reason (not the ones via the SSA). And check your FASTSearch\etc folder for any crawl configuration xml's which might be there.

  • Hehe, and that's why you should suspend the FAST crawler process if you are not using it :)
