  • I have a Notification Subscription that sends a notification to an external email address (VIA AD user) when an Incident is resolved. The criteria looks for an IR that moves from Active to Resolved status.

    The problem is, if we take a new Incident from Active to Resolved in a short amount of time (less than 2 minutes) the notification never triggers. If we wait a little longer it does. It appears that all the workflows associated with the IR moving to a Resolved state will fire no matter how quickly the Incident is Resolved. Note, the Incident is hitting Active status. 

    I tried changing the polling interval on the Notification Subscription from 100 to 10, but it didn't help. Is there anything else I can do? 

    I thought of moving this to a Workflow, but the user is not a field from the IR, it is a user I picked from our AD, So I didn't see a way to get that in a Workflow.

    What is the behavior when you change the criteria to this?

    Change From: Not Resolved
    Change to: Resolved
