Having a problem with unique permissions in a sub-site RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have read everything I could find in the forum and never had this problem before we upgraded from SP2003 to SP2010. I tried one thing and that was to double check that anonymous access wasn't turned on at the site collection and it is not.

I set up a sub-site with unique permissions from the start. In doing so, it gave me three groups, all of which I set up as new, Visitors, Members and Owners. There is no one in the Visitors Group and I'm the only member in the other groups.

However, one of the people in the all domain users group at the top level of the site collection (3 levels up) can get in and click around. I'm using her as my tester. She is not a SharePoint admin and isn't part of any other group.

What could be causing this? I need to lock down this particular site since it will be for HR.

    Thanks, Andrea
