  • Hi,

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)

    This indicates that a system thread generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.

    BugCheck 1000007E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff8000a63276d, ffffd000cf024938, ffffd000cf024140}

    1st argument indicates an access violation occurred.

    4: kd> .exr 0xffffd000cf024938
    ExceptionAddress: fffff8000a63276d (nvhda64v+0x000000000001d76d)
       ExceptionCode: c0000005 (Access violation)

    nvhda64v.sys is the driver that caused the violation, which is the nVidia HDMI Audio Device driver (part of the nForce chipset driver). Update your nVidia drivers (video, etc) as well as chipset - http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/RAMPAGE_III_GENE/HelpDesk_Download/

    ---------------------------------

    1. In your loaded drivers list, dtsoftbus01.sys is listed which is the Daemon Tools driver. Daemon Tools is a very popular cause of BSOD's in 7/8 based systems. Please uninstall Daemon Tools. Alternative imaging programs are: MagicISO, Power ISO, etc.

    2. Uninstall Samsung Rapid Disk as well ASAP.

  • >> The link you gave me for the chipset update only has win7 and won't let me install on my win8 though.

    Install the driver in compatibility mode.

    >> Did you check all of the dump files I provided? Were they all caused by the nvidia hdmi audio?

    Yes.

  • My nvidia drivers are up to date, I uninstalled daemon tools, and I disabled all the audio devices besides the one I'm using (so I disabled the HDMI ones), I will disable Rapid when I can reboot. The link you gave me for the chipset update only has win7 and won't let me install on my win8 though. Did you check all of the dump files I provided? Were they all caused by the nvidia hdmi audio? Thanks.

  • Ok the compatibility thing worked, but now it's saying I already have a newer version of the chipset. It says I have 10.0.13, and the installer is for 9.1.1.1025. I guess I'll disable the samsung rapid thing once I get a chance to reboot and see if I have the issue again. Thanks for your help! Very comforting to know they were all caused by the nvidia hdmi audio driver, since I don't need it.
