  • Hi Vivaan,

If upgrade fails or reports issues, you can refer to the log and error files for more information. Upgrade logs files are generated to the following default location: C: \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\Logs

    For more info:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee662104.aspx

Please check the error in ULS & let us know.

  • Hi Vivaan,

Did you deploy any customizations to the projects erver 2007  environment? If you have, check what this feature is and deploy the same feature to the SharePoint 2010 farm.

From the error message:  The feature with Id ee5c98df-97df-4d24-8c41-a7c9e216b638 is referenced in the database [WSS_Content], but is not installed on the current farm. The missing feature may cause upgrade to fail. Please install any solution which contains the feature and restart upgrade if necessary.

    Hope that helps.

  • It's an orphan database which means it probably got created during the early phase  of the installation.  I wouldn't be to concerned, because you probably haven't been using it.

    Cheers!

  • HI vivaan,

in order to have your PWA custom lists, shared docs etc. etc. you need to move content db also which contains your 2007 PWA site.

using the 5 dbs you will be able to achieve what you are targetting. to migrate using 5 dbs please see this post: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/chrisfie/archive/2010/05/27/how-to-upgrade-from-project-server-2007-to-project-server-2010-in-10min.aspx

and in case you overlooked a recommended practise to created a seperate content db for your PWA site, you mite consider extracting your pwa to seperate content db first.

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee332323(office.12).aspx

and than using the 5 dbs, provision your PWA 2010 and you will have all your project data inlcuding PWA customization as well.

    hope this helps.
