    error when using PowerPivot, i always get the msg Parameter key: name, "Value connot be null"

    I reInstalled Office but the msg came back

    Hi,

    Did the error occur when opening PowerPivot? Which button did you click to reproduce the issue? 

    What's your detailed Excel version? Please go to File > Account, under Product Information, collect the detailed Office 2016 version. Then click About Excel to check the detailed Excel 2016 version number.

    Please also try to install the latest version of Silverlight. Also make sure you have updated your Office and Windows to the latest versions.
