Import the Look up table data to Project server 2010 using Playbook - Getting Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

We are having problems in migrating the look up values from one server to another. The look up contains around 1800 values. We had taken a backup using playbook for a particular look up and while restoring,
it displays "SOAP EXCEPTION : unhandled communication fault occured" .

If we try to restore a look up value with around 50 values,it is getting restored in the other server.Any idea how to make the playbook work for more records.Do we need to make any changes in the web config to eliminate the error.

    Thanks

    regards Vimal

  • I think this is due to the long dataset serialized by paybooks. In this case I would have developed its module for data transfer, which would form a stack. Try to give more detailed information from the ULS log.

    Or change web.config

    MaxBufferSize

    500000000

    MaxReceivedMessageSize

    500000000

    SendTimeout

10675199.02:48:05.4775807 is the maximum possible. Try 01:00:00.

The large value corresponds to the TimeSpan.MaxValue property, which is 10675199 days, 2 hours, 48 minutes, and approximately 5 seconds—which is longer than 29,000 years. You can reduce the value, for example, to a more reasonable 01:00:00 (one hour).

    MaxArrayLength

    16384

    MaxBytesPerRead

    4096

    MaxDepth

    32

    MaxNameTableCharCount

    500000000

    MaxStringContentLength

    8192

    or change source playbooks.
