Is possible to link a Report to another on a Dashboard? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have desing a report with two reports. The first report is an Analitic Grid of the Sales, with Measure=Amount and Dimension=Product (2 level hieracy), the second report es an Analitic Chart of the Sales too, with Measure=Unit and Dimension=Product (the same dimension that the first one). Both reports use the same datasource and the same fact table.

Is posible to link each other using the Product Dimension? It could be cool if the user "drill-down" on the first report and the n simultaneously "drill-down" on the second.

How could i do this? it´s posible?

    Thanks

  • You can link two reports by having them share a common filter.  By creating a Member Selection filter based on the common Product dimension and linking it to both analytic reports using MemberUniqueName, when you make a selection from the filter it will effectively "drill-down" on both reports simulaneously.
