    Does it really suck that badly that you cannot do something as elementary as back up to a network drive? WOW! It is almost enough for me to go to Linux! It is pretty bad when Microsoft pesters you with their little surrender flag to back up your data, but then limits how and what you can back it up to. Good work Microsoft!

    I understand the inconvenience you have experienced.

     

    However, Windows 7 Home Premium does not support to back up to a network location as designed.

     

    You may compare the features from different Windows 7:

     

    Choose the Windows 7 edition that is best for you
