  • Hi

    We have a query where we want to add proxy exception in IE.

    If we add fqdn of website in IE exception and if the user try to access the website using IP will it be allowed or

    viceversa

    If we add IP address of website in IE exception and if the user tries to access the website using fqdn will it be allowed

    or DO we need to add both fqdn and its IP of the website in exception list.

    It is better to add both FQDN and IP of website in exception list.

    For FQDN, the proxy need DNS to resolve to IP.

    In my opinion, If add FQDN of website in IE exception, the IP will not work and vice versa.
