Microsoft.SharePoint, Version= RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am doing some integratioh with the sharepoint webservices, but our sharepoint (file version 11.0.8012.0) does not have a copy.asmx in the c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\60\ISAPI\

It does have all the other .asmx web services files thought

Can anybody help with a reason why?

  • If your SharePoint version is 11. anything it means that you have a 2003 version of SharePoint. (WSS 2.0 or SPS 2003).

The \60\ etc. directories are for 2007 versions of SharePoint (WSS 3.0 or MOSS 2007).

You should be looking for a \50\ etc. directory

Note that if you are following guidelines that suggest \60\ those are guidelines for a different product to the one you have.
