Windows Explorer doesn't refresh when moving/deleting RRS feed

  • Hi,

    i am having the same problem with my music files, when i delete them the remain on my media player. i have been reading the thread and wished for some help from (Deckard) i wanted to try your sugguestion, but i do not have any experience with computer.  i just turn them on and use them.  (please bear with me) what do you mean by back up the registry? where do you do the search for the coccurrences of the word refresh?  again sorry i just know how to turn the computer on)   thank you for your patience and understanding

  • First, please helps us clarify some questions:

    1: When the issue began to happen?
    2. Where are the music files stored? Is a local hard driver or network hard drive?
    3. Have you tried to test your issue in a new account?

    Generally, once you delete the music files, they would be also removed from the Windows Media Player. You can try the following suggestions to fix your issue:

    1. Try system restore if it occured recently. 
    2. Create a new account to test.
    3. Reset the folder views, Explorer -> Organize -> Folder and search options -> View, then click 'Reset Folders'.
