Images gallery in windows server 2012 r2

    Question

  • Hi all:

I am new at Windows server 2012 r2. It seems there is not  a image gallery to view the photos

Where can I download it? or is it a feature to add?

    TIA

  • Hi,

Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Photo Viewer is the default program to open photos, or, you may right click the photo and select Open With to choose other available program.

You may manually download appropriate APP(image gallery) from Store.

    >I have 'visor de galería fotográfica' (images galler viewer in spanish) but it doesn't open the file.
Try to configure this program as the default program for specific photo file type, and confirm the result.

If I have misunderstood your problem, please correct and provide more information.

    Best Regards,

  • My Windows Server 2012 R2 (v6.3 Build 9600) does not seem to have "Windows Photo Viewer". It's also not listed in the "Programs and Features" dialog and "Turn Windows features on or off" invokes "Server Manager" which is not readily useful.
