New App not being refreshed on clients RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I recently had trouble with my apps not launching, getting the -20000194 error. However, I re setup the VM I used to sequence the apps, and then resequenced this particular app. I then deleted the existing app out of the App-V server management console, and then imported the newly sequenced app. Two things are not happening on the clients which should be:

    1. I told App-V to publish a shortcut to the user's start menu, this is not happening.
    2. In the App-V client console I can see the app I am trying to run. If I make a shortcut for the app (because it is not appearing in the start menu like it should) I get the -20000194 error. However, if I delete the app out of the client console, then re add it by browsing to the OSD file on the server, it appears in the start menu, and it works!
    For some reason App-V is not refreshing properly. I can do a manual refresh on the clients, but it still does not fix the problem; I have to delete then re add the app to the client console.

    Can anyone think of a way to fix this? I would be greatly appreciative.
