Can I create GS1 barcode in Word?

Question
-
I've been using GS1 barcode in Excel, when I worked with a list of products and prices. Is there any way to encode GS1 barcode like GS1-128 barcode in Word. If it is possible, do I need to install barcode font? If not, what should I do?Wednesday, April 18, 2012 7:45 AM

Both barcode fonts and word add-in to generate barcode will be OK. I tried word add-in for GS1 128, it works well. Easy to convert number into barcode, and could change size and fonts of barcode, funny.

GS1-128, also known as EAN-128. THere are professional EAN-128 Addin for MS Word on Google.
For creating EAN-128 barcodes in serial letters in Word documentation, view steps provided below.- Move to "Add-Ins" in the menu bar of a new Word document.
- Click "Insert Barcode" and a barcode setting panel appears.

- Choose the label size in the pull-down menu.
- Click "Select Recipients" to activate "Type New List" or "Use Existing List".
- Create an EAN-128 barcode in the first cell of the document and click "Update Labels".
