    Hi

    I am setting up remote desktop services to run a training session. I've assigned a virtual desktop to a user, so when they go through RDweb they are redirected to that desktop. I want the ability to monitor that session however so we can help said user if necessary...however I don't see any sessions under my RD Gateway manager...am I missing something?

    I may not be using the right technology either after further reading the Gateway manager monitoring will only give me details. I want to be able to hope on their desktop and share with them or watch what they are doing.

    I have not used virtual desktops but try this:

    1) if the client is onthe same subnet as the session host , by default it will bypass the gateway

    2) Use the Remote Desktop Services Manager MMC and add your session hosts to it, you can then see all the sessions and remote control sessions
