I can see that if a Project Manager updates a task in his plan then the assigned resource will see the status Manager Updated text in the process status column on his task list. If however the resource submits a progress update (ie status switches to Awaiting
Approval) and then the Project Manager updates the task himself (ie does NOT accept the changes from the resource) then the status still remains at Awaiting Approval rather than Manager Updated - this seems confusing, is this correct?
Indeed there is no such "manager updated" status. If the resource updates a task status, submit it and then the project manager modify the given task, he has to communicate with the resource so the resource can redo (or recall if it is a timesheet)
if needed the task update.
Hope this helps,
