Add Enterprise Cals

Question
-
Hi,
We have a skype for business std on-prem deployment. Were looking to enable a some of the enterprise features (e.g. Meeting Record) for some of the users. We basically need to upgrade the Cal for some users to Enterprise. To that end, i just need clarification on the following:- There are no Cal upgrades one can apply to an existing skype std server. So i assume upgrading a user to an enterprise Cal means purchasing and installing a new Skype for Business enterprise server (in addition of course to having the cals from a licensing standpoint)? If the answer is yes:
- Can both instances live on the same box?
- Will users be able to community with each other across the different instances (Std <> Ent)?
- Whats the process to migrate the user from std to enterprise?

Hi Alice,
The CAL installation link refers to Windows Essential Edition server, i dont see how this helps me for my SFB CALs. I have SFB running on Windows std server, and im not referring to windows Cal's but Skype Cals
