Unable to edit or create reports

Question

Hi All
I have problems with editing existing reports or creating new ones
I am not sure if this has something to do with our upgrade to SCCM 2012 R2 CU2
I changed the registry key and edited the Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.exe.config.xml as described in the following link
http://blogs.technet.com/b/smartinez/archive/2012/07/03/system-center-2012-configuration-manager-create-report-don-t-work-what-do-i-do-now.aspx
Afterwards I try to edit an report I see report builder is being downloaded and after it generates the following error “Application did not succeed. Unable to continue”

Error details are

And in the SmsAdminUI.log I noticed the following error
[16, PID:4460][07/21/2014 14:11:43] :[ReportProxy] - User-specified default Reporting Point [Server1.local.nl] could not be found, [Server2.local.nl] is now the default Reporting Point.

I hope someone can give me some advice , I am lost with this error
Thx in advance

If you read the error above it is telling you that you have an error with the manifest and Hash. This is a problem with RB install and has nothing to do with CM12 itself.
I would post the question in the SQL forum. or better yet, user BIDS instead.

Run the Admin Console with "run as administrator". We once had a similar problem and it was because of the way we had security setup (so only admins and change reports--we have separate "regular" and "Admin" accounts.

Hi,
Could you run reports without error?
Have you tried to install Report Builder 3.0 manually?
Best Regards,
Joyce
