  • Is it possible to Federate with Skype for Business 2015 in a Hybrid setup with an external domain using Live Communications Server 2015 with Service Pack 1 or newer?

    What is the earliest server version of Skype for Business 2015 in a hybrid setup can federate with?

    Based on my research, it should be Lync server 2010 that could be within the support.

  • Hi, Blue_Craig,

     

    I've discussed with my coworkers, would say that LCS 2005 is totally out of support. This is mission impossible. You can try to hard code the edge server FQDN, but even that may not get it working.
