    Can i have some internal(In depth document) document(sources) for troubleshooting on Merge Replication.

    I dont think there's any one generic document which handles all the troubleshooting scenarios for Merge replication

  • Basically check view details to see what error message you are getting.

    Then check the documentation of any of the forums (like this one) to see if there are any responses for the type of error you are getting.

    Note that with merge replication you will be getting a lot of deadlocks and transient network errors. These can normally be ignored as long as they don't occur all the time. Watch for subscriptions which are not synchronized within a reasonable timeframe. This could be 1 hour or 1 day. It really depends.

    I used this book: Pro SQL Server 2008 Replication
    Author:  Sujoy P. Paul

    It has detailed information on merge replication, system tables, views and how the process works.

    Even though it is based on SQL 2008 I found it applies to my SQL 2016 merge environment (screens may differ but the underlying system tables and views seam to all be the same.
