Distribution point - Content not found RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have set up a 2nd distribution point I'm having issues with it.  All of the prerequisites are installed, I can successfully distribute content to the DP, the DP is in the correct boundary group, and there are no errors reported.  However, whenever I try to install software through software center, It fails immediately with the following error

The software change returned error code 0x87D00607(-2016410105).

I have checked in the locationservices log on the client and the DP and they both report that they are in the same site.  If I try to install an app thats on my original DP, it installs with no problem.  I have compared settings and they are configured the same. I have no idea where to go from here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  • I just reinstalled it for the 4th time and it now works. The only thing I did differently was check the box that installs IIS.  I skipped it because all of the prereqs were installed.
