CSWB - Excluding one site RRS feed

    Hello All

    Could someone help please?

    We are using a CSWP as a news feed on the homepage of our site which pulls through content from blogs across the entire site.  What I would like to do is exclude one blog so it doesnt appear within the CSWB.

    Is there away of doing this through the Advance mode within the setting of the webpart?

    Or, Can this be done through the blog site settings Query Rules or are query rules just for the search engine?

    Thank you for your help but I figured it out.

    I wrote this coding  "path:-followed by the url of the blog site i wanted to remove"

    and entered it into the 'query text' of the 'build your query' contained within the CSWP.

    Hi,

    do you mean a single blog or a blog site?

    Either way I believe you can achieve this by excluding the site or blog using "site<>http://xyz"

    Here is a full example:

    path:"https://server/sites/prc"  contentclass:STS_Web site<>https://server/sites/prc/p2/

    This sample returns all subsites below /sites/prc and excludes /sites/prc/p2 :-)
