Skype for Business in Office 365 - does it need an Office Web Apps Server RRS feed

  • Question

  • We currently have Skype for Business 2015 set up on premises, and have an Office Web Apps Server associated with it.

We are planning to migrate to Skype for Business in Office365, and I don't know whether we will still need to associate our Office365 instance to an Office Web Apps Server in order to support PPT presentaitons, or whether Skype for Business in Office365 natively provides the Office Web Apps functionality.

    Is anyone able to advise?

  • Hi GLONeill,

Per my knowledge, SFB online has PPT sharing function natively.

For your situation, the only thing you need to do is to migrate users from SFB on premise to SFB online, I will share a document for your reference
