HELP with user accoutns & sign in

Question
-
I hope someone can help me. When I upgraded to windows 10, it would not let me use any of my old windows 8 sign in information. It kept saying user account already in use. so I made up a user. Then I added my old account under user accounts. I tried to do a system restore but it did not take. When I try to sign in...I get a black screen only. It doesn't do anything. I would go back to windows 8.1 but it doesn't give me that option and besides I like windows 10. How ca I use my old account sign in/Thursday, August 25, 2016 12:57 AM

Hi,
As Arnav said, try use DISM command to repair system image at first.

Next, according to your description, I think you may use a Microsoft account to login system on previous Windows 8. If so, go to account settings interface and click “Sign in with a Microsoft account instead” to see the result.
In general, first login will cost longer time, please be patient.
