Exchange 2013 CAL function clarification RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dears,

    I have 2 questions about E2013 license:

    1. Is IRM supported by Exchange Standard CAL or Enterprise CAL? If it's supported by Enterprise CAL, can a user with standard CAL open IRM-Protected email?

    2. I heard that E2013 Standard CAL also include basic anti-virus/anti-spam functions. It that true? It it is, then what's the protection difference between Standard CAL and Enterprise CAL?

  • Thanks! I checked the License-faq, but didn't get clear understanding. I just want to clarify the function about Exchange STD CAL and ENT CAL. I will try to post it to licensing-faq.
