SNOM Phones not ringing unless the lync desktop client is logged in RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I have strange issue.

    I setup IVR via Lync response group, and I got SNOM 710 and SNOM 760 and the phones are updated to the UC firmware

    when call comes to the IVR and IVR send the call to the agent. the SNOM phones will not ring until the desktop client is logged in.

    any ideas.

  • It looks like the Lync status will not updated, if the phone is logged in.

    What happened if you change the presence status of the phone, will the Lync status also be changed.

    You use always the Lync RGS function or another IVR?

  • Another test would be to change the IVR group's Routing Method to "Attendant" see if the Snom phones ring without the Lync client being signed in. Also what is the firmware version you've deployed?

    Please run Get-CsAddressBookConfiguration to check value of AddressBookAvailability. You can try to set the value to WebSearchAndFileDownload to test.
