    I have set up a calendar for a Project that has no non-working days (apart from holidays) and yet in the Gantt chart it will still show each Saturday and Sunday with the brown bars of a non-working day.  is there a way to get these to not display?

    the actual task does count the weekends as working days, this is just a superficial change I was wondering about.

    You can change the non-working time display to reflect the calendar assigned to the project.  

    • Right click in a blank area of the Gantt Chart to show the shortcut menu.
    • Select Nonworking Time... from the menu to show the Timescale dialog.
    • On the Non-working time tab, select the appropriate calendar from the Calendar drop down.
