Windows doesn't recognize DVD RW after installing IE9 Beta RRS feed

  • Question

  • After installing IE9 Beta Windows won't recognize my DVD RW drive.   I also tried to create a system System Repair Disk and I got a "Parameter is incorrect" (0x800700570)  My Gateway PC came installed with Roxio Burn.   I looked on the Roxio site and they do not support Beta programs.   Not sure if this would be a Windows 7, IE9 Beta,or  Roxio Burn.   I inadvertendly let a disk in DVD drive on statrted and I got a blue screen that showed a problem with "D" drive which is my DVDRW drive.  I removed the disk restarted and finally started normally.

So far I've checked, drivers, sofware, and FIX It options in Microsoft , Microsoft and IE9 Beta issues

  • have you made a system restore to revert to a stable system without IE9? Is your Windows working?
