  • It definitely sounds like a bug.  Is there any kind of audience targeting turned on?  That could account for differences between users.

I'd also try looking at web part maintenance for that page (see here: http://vspug.com/nrdev/2007/02/08/tip-easily-get-to-the-webpart-maintenance-page-for-any-sharepoint-site-url/)

That may show an unexpected web part or some such.

  • There is no targeting turned on for the web parts. I see all the web parts are pretty much ok. but donno why

An error occurred during the processing of . Content ('</ZoneTemplate>') does not match any properties within a 'Microsoft.SharePoint.WebPartPages.WebPartZone', make sure it is well-formed."

this error is showing up. when i logged in to a page. Where another user with same permissions can view the page with out any error.

  • Hi maheshmartha,

It sounds like you are using a customized Master page. And that in the Master page, the WebpageZone elements are not well formed(meaning one <ZoneTemplate> to one </ZoneTemplate>).

If you paste the code to your master page, we can help identify where the erroneous tag is.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Peng Lei
