Forefront Managing cluster resources in the MOM 2005 Snap in RRS feed

  • Question

  •  I noticed in the MOM 2005 interface there is a group called "Windows Server Cluster Computers" that shows clustered resources of physical machines currently managed by forefront. If I right click on a clustered resource there is an option to "start managing". What does this mean? Or does anyone have a link explaining this part of MOM 2005.

  • Hi,

    Thank you for your post.

As far as I know,Windows Server Cluster Computers” group may do some things, such as view Windows Server Cluster computers, change the management mode, run attribute discovery, view/change the properties of a cluster computer, and update agent settings.

For more information, you may refer to the following article.
