What does Windows 10 Sync? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Windows 10 desktop and laptop and a corporate Azure AD I manage. The laptop is Win10 Enterprise and the desktop is Win10 Pro.

I understand there are 3 ways to join some sort of cloud account, but I might be mixing two of them, aside from a traditional domain join.

    1. Create your Microsoft account as an authorized user on the PC.
    2. Add your 365/AAD account as having access to corporate resources, but tied to an existing local user on the PC.
    3. Create your 365/AAD account as an authorized user on the PC.

I also understand there are some capabilities to sync things such as Windows settings but is this as far as it will go? What can be synchronized? I doubt programs can roam but what about files, desktop, etc.? How do you take advantage of all of this?
