Wireless icon on taskbar RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • The icon on the right hand side of the taskbar that is used to show the connection status of internet capability seems to be broken. I'm used to having a globe when I'm connected to the internet, from vista and Xp, however all I have in Windows 7 is an icon with 5 white bars. Is this the icon that is supposed to be displayed when connected to the internet or is something wrong, thanks.

  • The white bars mean you're connected to a wireless network. They show the connection quality and status.
