"Failed to retrieve data for this request" using VS2008 and Windows Mobile 6.0 after upgrade to Team Foundation Server

Hi All,

I am working on a Windows Mobile 6.0 solution for a device that is connected to my laptop using ActiveSync. In VS 2008, I can view the SQL Server CE 3.5 database via Server Explorer with no problem until I loaded Visual Studio Team Foundation System 2008. Now I can still connect to the database but when I try to view the tables the error "Failed to retrieve data for this request" displays. I installed the SQL Server CE for Windows Mobile 3.5 SP1.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the issue here?

I corrected this by installing SQL Server 2008, which is addressed in this thread (found later) as well:

I need to be more specific. All was fine after I installed Team Foundation Server (in July). Problems occurred when I installed Team Explorer and Power Tools recently.
