Windows Vista won't boot! RRS feed

  • Windows Vista will not start, everytime it is about to load the desktop, the computer restarts. Only safe mode works, and that will not suffice. Anyone with help, please post.

    you can try disabling the hardware devices like display adapter, network adapter..

    if it still doesnt work go to system properties -> advanced settings -> startup and recovery -> settings -> uncheck the automatic restart -> ok

    restart the computer in the regular mode you should get some error message in the blue screen.  please post the error message will see what we can do for you..

    i will appreciate if you post the configuration of your computer

  • Situation changed - now safe mode will not work. I think I will format my hard drive, and start fresh.

    60GB Hard Drive

    768MB DDR RAM

    Intel Celeron M 2.6Ghz
